To provide for safer and more enjoyable non-motorized
travel and for property owners to be in compliance with Village Code
Chapter 173, Streets and Sidewalks Article II Maintenance of Sidewalk
Area for repair. & Article VI Sidewalk Construction.
The Village of Cuba Department of Public Works will take requests for
new sidewalks from property owners along residential, thoroughfares,
business streets and non-residential areas throughout the Village of
Cuba.
A general target of this "first come first serve program" is to provide approximately 2800 square feet of new sidewalk each year.
Property owners must apply for this service, and agree to terms set
forth by the Superintendent of Public Works:
