BRUSH PICKUP

1. All brush shall be picked up the first Monday of each month. Brush shall be at the curbside by 7:00 a.m. the day of pickup.

2. All brush placed at the curb should be no longer than six feet in length.

3. All brush to be securly bundled and tied. Bundles shall be of a size and weight that can be handled by one person.

4. All brush to be bundled with all butt-ends heading the same direction.

5. All brush to be put at curb shall have no larger than a four-inch diameter.

6. Quantity of brush to be put at curb shall be limited to its intent for residential pick-up. Special arrangements shall be made of large quantities with the Superintendent of Public Works at (585) 968-2487.

7. Contractors shall be required to dispose of all brush and material created as a result of work being performed.

8. All materials that are not being chipped such as bark, twigs, leaves, and pine needles shall be put at curb in containers.

9. Containers can consist of plastic bags, garbage cans, and bushel baskets.

10. If residents do not abide by the above rules, their brush, twigs, leaves, etc. will be left at the curb.
